During his career, Arno Carstens has performed with U2, The Rolling Stones and REM, among many others; headlined every major South African music festival; and performed at some of the most legendary and exclusive international music festivals including Isle of Wight, Glastonbury, V Festival and Hard Rock Calling.

Arno’s live performance includes the hits from his career as front man of The Springbok Nude Girls, many of the beloved and most celebrated songs from his career as a platinum selling, award winning English solo artist and some popular cover tracks. Arno performs a bilingual set, and includes tracks from his debut Afrikaans album “Die Aandblom 13”.

Platinum selling, award winning, singer-songwriter Arno Carstens has released 12 albums; 5 as lead singer of Springbok Nude Girls, 1 as part of Electronica project Bhelltower and 6 as a solo artist.

He’s had over 20 top-ten singles and won 5 SAMA Awards including Best Rock Album in 2004 for Another Universe and Best Adult Contemporary Album in 2006 for The Hello Goodbye Boys. In 2016 he won Song of the Year for Ontwaak, taken off his debut Afrikaans album, Die Aandblom 13, which won a Ghoema for Alternative Album of the Year in 2017. Arno has been called “The godfather of South African Rock” by Mail & Guardian and Sunday Times have hailed him as “One of the most prolific songwriters and performers of our time”

There are various performance options available that range from intimate and unplugged through to full band. Arno also presents a show called Chapters of Sound with a collaborative female vocalist in his band, and this incredible multilingual set includes English, Afrikaans, Xhosa and Zulu.

Arno is also a celebrated fine artist who paints in oils on canvas. He has collaborated with legendary artist Beezy Bailey and the late Bared de Wet. His work has been exhibited at galleries in and around Cape Town and can currently be viewed on his Instagram account and purchased privately from his home studio.
