Whilst in the midst of a successful acting career – Stefan shifted his focus to music. 2005 saw the release of his debut album “Liggroen Doringbome”, a mix of Afrikaans and English songs – to great reviews. The release was followed by “Vuur en Water” in 2007. The self-produced album also resulted in a Eurovision Music Video Award nomination - for the music video for the title track, and extensive airplay throughout Southern Africa.
