Stuart Reece is a 26 year old multi-talented artist whose highlights of being in the music industry comes from becoming a guitarist, singer and a songwriter originally from Port Elizabeth, South Africa. One of them charting at number 3 on the Algoa FM top 30 (Love Song). The EP is still available at his gigs today.

The surprise success of the EP sparked the idea of recording a full album and a year later Stuart and his band headed into Bryan McLagen’s studio to work on his debut full length album. The recording process was a great success and the band launched the album on the 13th of April 2012. The album is titled ‘Chasing Shadows’ and is also available at his gigs. The singles from the album were ‘Write About Us’ and ‘Better Left Unsaid’ and were both playlisted on Radio stations across South Africa.

Stuart started playing guitar at the age of 13 and played for bands throughout school. His style of music is ‘easy-listening’ and inspiration is drawn from pop artists like Jason Mraz and Bruno Mars.

In June 2013, Stuart and the band headed into Bryan McLagen’s studio for a third time to begin the recording of his second studio album. Eleven brand new songs on an Album titled “Storm”. The Album was sent to Paris Lucas in Fishhoek for mixing and mastering and launched to a sold out crowd at The Athenaeum in Port Elizabeth in October 2013. The first and only single “Alright” picked up national radio airplay.

In December 2013, after the launch of the Storm Album, Stuart relocated to Johannesburg to further pursue his career in music.

In March 2014 he recorded a single titled “Falling for you”. The song was produced by Marius Brouwer at Pop Planet Studio and has been playlisted on radio stations across the country. It peaked at no. 5 on the Algoa FM Top 30.
